We Seek & Empower Well-being through the Unity of Nature and Humanity.

Simply put, we believe in the power of connection - to ourselves, each other and the planet. By meditating outside surrounded by a community, we strive to form new connections, build a deeper appreciation for nature and experience enhanced joy.

 We exist to make a positive lasting impact and at our core we are mission-driven. How we live our values:

1. We strive to enhance physical well-being through nature-based meditation. Some benefits are known to include decreased stress (calmer nervous system), lowered blood pressure, increased energy, improved mood, boosted immune system & more!

2. We promote mental health awareness and actively partner with other organizations championing this effort.

3. We welcome everyone from all religions, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, abilities and backgrounds. No one is ever turned away based on these attributes.

4. We are a committed to a low footprint; we up-cycle decor, recycle waste and purchase local whenever possible.


All OM Events and Sessions are led by Tribe Guides who have experienced their own healing or growth through meditation - including our founder (more on her below).

Chief Executive Officer & Tribe guide

Melanie built Outside Meditation on the foundation of her own healing from anxiety, depression and trauma. By practicing regular awareness, appreciation, connection and compassion, she experienced powerful growth - which is why these four principles are the key components in every Outside Meditation (OM) session.

Melanie believes meditation and mindfulness cannot only be healing but also fun, fulfilling and memorable! Melanie is very passionate about utilizing meditation as a powerful key to self-care and healing. She created Outside Meditation to bring the joy of being mindful in nature to all!
